Buchu Blues

Buchu Blues Stilbaai

Buchu Blues, a somewhat hidden self-catering accommodation for two in the coastal town of Still Bay in the Western Cape, South Africa. Sitting at the far end of a long, narrow, sloping plot, the apartment borders on a wide green strip of conserved fynbos and milk-wood trees.

While sitting on the patio smelling the unique scent of the natural fynbos and other plant species, you can enjoy hearing a variety of bird song. Looking down on the wide green belt, harbouring a wide range of animals, you might be surprised to see a bushbuck. Lifting your gaze, you can enjoy the blue strip of ocean on the horizon melting into the different shade of blue of the sky. Every day the blue of the sea and sky will be different, all depending on the mood of the weather. At night time, you can hear the roaring ocean, undisturbed by your quiet presence.

This snug, serene abode is near enough to walk to most amenities, so you can park your car, switch off your phone and forget that there is a world out there. Like the buchu plant benefits your physical health, Buchu Blues will benefit your inner health.

“Buchu Blues detoxes the soul like the Buchu Bush detoxes the body”
